Delivery of Rules

  1. The umpire's decision making and game management should encourage spirited, fair and even competition, in the interests of the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all participants and attendees.

  2. Players and officials are to accept umpires decisions with grace and good humour, it's a game. Likewise, umpires are to at all times treat players with respect and consideration, players are not sportspeople.

  3. Umpires may at their discretion send off any player who is being unnecessarily violent, abusive or aggressive by issuing a red card. Umpires may, at their discretion, firstly warn an offending player by issuing them a yellow card. 4. The umpires are entrusted and encouraged to decide when play falls outside the fair, safe, fun and inclusive spirit of the Reclink Community Cup and their decisions are final and to be obeyed; and

  5. Team managers and coaches are responsible for ensuring that players in their team are aware of and understand the Game Rules.
