It was edge of your seat kind of stuff on Sunday 25 August at the Hobart Reclink Community Cup.
Politicians, musicians and members of the media united to don the boots to raise money for Reclink Australia.
A kick after the siren levelled the game and resulted in a draw between the Van Diemen Dogs and the Ramonas.

Since 1993 the Melbourne Reclink Community Cup has attracted the who’s who of the radio and music industries that give their time (and bruises) to raise awareness and funds for Australia’s most disadvantaged.
From humble beginnings in 1993, the Melbourne event now attracts more than 12,000 people and raises more than $250,000 for Reclink Australia annually.
Having been played in Hobart since 2016, every dollar raised in the Hobart match goes directly to Reclink Australia programs within Tasmania. Reclink’s structured sport, and recreation programs improve life outcomes for those experiencing mental illness, family violence, homelessness, social isolation, gambling harm, unemployment, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
