The 2023 Sydney v Canberra Reclink Community Cup was held at Henson Park, Marrickville on Sunday 29 October 2023 as a curtain closer for the Swans v Pies AFLW Match.
This head-to-head Aussie rules match between media personalities and local musicians in new combined teams the Sydney Soundwaves & Canberra Bubbles was a crucial fundraising event for Reclink Australia.

The Reclink Community Cup is an incredibly fun day chock-full of family-friendly entertainment, the inimitable football match itself augmented by not just live music but also bars, food trucks and a relaxed atmosphere that firmly emphasises community over football and team spirit over individual skills.
From humble beginnings in 1993, the Melbourne event now attracts more than 12,000 people and raises more than $250,000 for Reclink Australia annually.
Having been played in Sydney since 2012, every dollar raised in the Sydney match goes directly to Reclink Australia programs within New South Wales. Reclink’s structured sport, and recreation programs improve life outcomes for those experiencing mental illness, family violence, homelessness, social isolation, gambling harm, unemployment, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
